Margaret Rees MSc MCSP

Margaret is a very experienced Consultant Physiotherapist with an impressive list of qualifications and special interests. She has achieved a Masters Degree in Orthopaedic Medicine, which means she is a Clinical Specialist in the treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions - such as back problems, frozen shoulder, bursitis and tennis elbow - and their clinical diagnosis. This also allows her to treat certain patients with steroid injections which are highly effective in some cases where traditional physiotherapy is not appropriate.

A familiar figure in Worcestershire, Margaret’s reputation reaches considerably further afield. As a Fellow and Chairman of The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine Education Commitee she regularly lectures both in the UK and Europe on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the spine and other joints.

Margaret is also qualified in the use of acupuncture for the treatment of musculo-skeletal problems, and also Pilates, both of which are becoming increasingly popular. She is a former Chairperson of the Worcestershire branch of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
